- Description:
Product Name: Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate
Other name: AEO, Fatty alcohol ethoxylates, Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate, Alcohols C12-14 Ethoxylated, Lauryl Ethoxylate
CAS No.: 68439-50-9
- Characteristics
AEOs are fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ethers based on natural prime C12-14 alcohol and ethylene oxide. Fatty alcohol ethoxylates are available under the products which are anionic surfacactants derived from natural fatty alcohols. These nonionic (lauryl alcohol ethoxylate) are applied in a wide variety of applications and their function is strongly dependent on the chemical composition. The Hydrophilic/ Lipophilic Balance determines which nonionic is best for a certain application.
