  • Characteristics

AEOs are fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ethers based on natural prime C12-14 alcohol and ethylene oxide. Fatty alcohol ethoxylates are available under the products which are anionic surfacactants derived from natural fatty alcohols. These nonionic (lauryl alcohol ethoxylate) are applied in a wide variety of applications and their function is strongly dependent on the chemical composition. The Hydrophilic/ Lipophilic Balance determines which nonionic is best for a certain application.

  • Storage:

• AEOs should be stored indoors in a dry place.
• Storerooms must not be overheated (<50℃). The solidification points of these products also need to be considered. Liquid that has solidified or that shows signs of sedimentation should be gentle heated to 50-60℃ and agitated before use.

  • Shelf life:

• AEOs have a shelf life of at least two years in their original packaging, provided they are stored properly and drums are kept tightly sealed.
