DOTP is a substitution of TBC, DOP, DBP, DINP as a eco-friendly plasticizer, with a good physical property and machanical property, electrical and heat resistance, low-temperature volatility, lower glass transition temperature, which endow products with excellent durability, soap water resistance and low-temperature flexibility. Its low volatility reaches the temperature requirement for cable and wire sheath as well as the standards of IEC. DOTP shares similar molecule structure with DOA and DOS, thus it has good cold resistance. Its volume resistivity is 10-20 times higher than that of DOP. DOTP also has good mobility resistance.

- Application:
Good heat and electrical property make it an ideal plasticizer in PVC cable sheath and artificial leather manufacture. With excellent intermiscibility, DOTP could also be used in acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral , chemigum , nitrocellulose to improve product morphotropy, as great plasticizing efficiency and low volatility in cable sheat materials thus it is widely used in heat resistance and high insulation products.
DOTP could be used in furniture and decoration paint, coating, lubricating oil or lubricating oil additive for precise instruments, nitrocellulose varnish agent, paper softener, polyesteramide film, plastic artifact and blood bag, gland strip for the car, freezer door and window, PVC leather, PVC floor, pipe,etc.
